A Call to All PSA and CoCOA Members
ARTspiring January 2010
Beginning in February, The Main Gallery at Poudre River Arts Center will offer
rental space to local artists for month-long shows. Since this is a new concept
for us, we'd like to extend the opportunity, at a discounted rate, to all PSA
and CoCOA members for the inaugural show in January.
Paintings, photography, sculpture, mixed media, two dimensional, 3D ... all are welcome! Of course, PRAC does need to reserve the right to turn away pieces it deems unacceptable due to space limitations. First come, first served!
What:
- Spaces are 4' wide by 8' high, with 2' of floor space in the case of artists who do dimensional work.
- Participate in the Downtown Fort Collins First Friday Gallery Walk on January 8, 2010.
Investment:
- $50 for the month of January. Payment is required before hanging your work.
- You will be required to hang and label your own work and to participate in the First Friday opening.
- You will also be required to sign up for at least one 4-hour gallery-sitting shift.
When:
- Signups for January are being taken now through 1/4/10. See table below
for important dates. You must be able to keep this schedule in order to participate.

How:
- Artists agree that Poudre Studio Artists and Poudre River Arts Center are not to be held liable for any damage/insurance and will sign a waiver to that effect when dropping off artwork.
- Artists must return to collect pieces on the date indicated.
- Contact information for artist and title of work must be on the back of each piece.
- Artists are required to handle his or her own sales and PR, including providing press release and photo(s) to PRAC for use in the center's marketing materials.
