Polymer Clay Class Schedule Late Summer – Fall 2010
All Polymer Clay classes, demos and presentations are offered by Carol Simmons. All classes and workshops are small (3 – 7) and offer lots of personal attention. All tools, materials and equipment are provided for beginner level classes.

Getting Started With Polymer Clay: Rainbow Necklace. $40 (Sat, Aug 14; Sun, Sept 12; and Sat, Oct 23; 12-5 PM)

Embellished Beads: Dots and Stripes (The Rainbow Necklace class is a prerequisite for this class.) $35 (Sun, Aug 15,12:30 – 5 PM)

Open Studios

Open Studios 12:30 to 5 PM (Dates by pre-arrangement.)
$20 each for 2 people; $15 each for 3 or more
Tools, equipment, and incidental supplies are provided. You must bring your own clay or purchase it from me.

Open studios will offer you an opportunity to work on your own projects using my tools and equipment. While I will not be teaching new techniques, I will be available to help you with techniques I have previously taught. I may also demonstrate some variations on those techniques or various finishing approaches for a particular project. Supplies such as sandpaper, paint, and finishing solutions will be provided. Buffers, a cane slicer, wire-working tools and other equipment will be available as well as pasta machines, class toolkits, lights, work surfaces and an oven.

 

Watercolor

$40 includes loaner supplies for beginners or some exploratory materials for advanced painters

Designed for both the beginner who needs a thorough introduction to the materials, as well as for the intermediate painter as a problem solving opportunity and time to work with the instructor individually refining skills. Work from your own photos. Always a fun class.
